Project Manager


Position Responsibilities:































Function as the overall project manager for multiple projects;
Function as the overall coordinator of day to day resource assignments;
Develop and refine implementation methodologies in terms of building tools and templates, verify all steps are completed on every project;
Ensure all communications are completed – including weekly status updates, executive updates, etc.;
Serve as a lead person for resource scheduling, leveling, and schedule crashing;
Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities for specific projects;
Apply company methodologies and enforce project standards (ensure best practices from PMI are incorporated and adhered to);
Ensure client portals and partner portals are up to date and maintained;
Monitor client satisfaction levels and issues lists and ensures timely follow up is being performed;
Provide management with periodic reports on resource levels, client status, etc.;
Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements;
Manage project development - from initiation to closure;
Be accountable for project results;
Provide specific project schedules to identify when project tasks will be performed;
Act as a mediator between stakeholders and team members;
Manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request forms;
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scope;
Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client;
Prepare engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures;
Minimize company  exposure and risks on projects;
Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately;
Work closely with and support the entire service teams - to provide hands support related to new projects and existing installations;
Develop and document Best Practices and processes;
Assist in the development of client and partner training documentation and materials;
Assist in client webinars;
Work with the sales and marketing teams when required, to provide support to clients, partners and internal team members;
Foster a success-oriented, accountable, and ethical environment within the company;
Perform other activities and duties as directed by management.


Knowledge and Skill Requirements:


• 











Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline;
Great client management skills;
Project Management Professional certification (PMP), Six Sigma, or Lean preferred;
Excellent critical thinking skills;
Ability to work collaboratively with others, excellent team skills;
Ability to stay calm under pressure;
Strong communication skills – verbal and written;
High level documentation skills – in the project management area (processes and practices)
Ability to handle critical project situations;
Ability to mentor other staff;
Training skills – in particular technical client users and support;
Hospital and/or long-term care project implementation experience and understanding of complex health systems;
Ability to diagnose and resolve majority of client issues.
